With so many sports electrolyte drinks on the market we wanted to create a very unique sports drink that would honestly give our consumers a distinct advantage.
Our first goal was to design it so it was very easy to digest, even during very intense exercise.
Second was to eliminate cramps.
Third was to increase energy levels for a longer period of time, and fourth was to clear free radicals that would help speed recovery times.

CT2M3 Technology - is a proprietary blend of Calcium, Taurine, Thoebromine and Magnesium. This helps iuncrease oxidation, hydration, muscular endurance, and energy levels while decreasing muscular cramps and CNS(Central Nervous System) Fatigue.
NADH - Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide - is involved in redox reactions, carrying electrons from one reaction to another, which increase energy levels at the celluelar level. NADH supplies the spark that turns glucose and O2 into human energy. This energy is called cellular respiration. The cellular respiration process creates energy, inside each and every cell.
The chemistry of NADH is complex in the human body. NADH is necessary to oxidize (burn) all fats, sugars, amino-acids and turn them into ATP. There are three energy production cycles: the glycolytic (sugar burning) and Krebs’ citric acid cycles (aminos and fats are "burned" through the Krebs’ cycle), and the electron transport side chain.
Carbohydrate Proflie - Carbohydrates are the main source of energy during exercise. There has been an ongoing trend of using "maltodextrins" in sports drinks. While maltodextrins are a great source for consistent energy, it also has a very low oxidation rate, meaning that the amount of glucose that is metabolized into the bloodstream is very slow.
Maltodextrins by themselves have a rate of .75 grams per minute, very slow, and will leave you in a bigger glycogen deficit.
This is great during non-exercise times, however your brain during exercise is burning 3-5 grams per minute. This means that your muscle glycogen will be tapped into faster because your brain needs glucose faster than you can absorb it.
The carbohydrate profile in Rapidade, is a glucose/fructose mixture , that yields a 2.1 oxidation rate. This carbohydrate profile has a specific ratio of glucose to fructose mixture that can increase the rate at which the body can utilize ingested carbohydrate energy verusus glucose or maltodextrin alone.
